About The Project

Logitech, a popular gaming technology company, tasked our team with creating a Mandalorian edition of their A30 gaming headset to coincide with the release of Season 3 of the hit Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. As the content strategist and writer on the project, I was responsible for directing key visuals and creating copy that were both true to canon and would resonate with die-hard fans of the franchise.

I worked closely with the design team to conduct further research on the Mandalorian series, its characters, and other, more extraneous elements of the Star Wars. We analyzed images of the show's iconic armor and weaponry to ensure that the headset's design was true to the canonical elements within Mandalorian culture and heritage. We also referenced key scenes from the series to develop a story-driven messaging strategy that highlighted the headset's features in a way that felt authentic to the franchise. The idea was to place the product in environments that were directly inspired by the Mandalorian beskar material or places where it might be found – or in this case – forged.

This headline features two core tenets of the Mandalorian creed, and works to tie Star Wars lore with the business objectives of Logitech to create a cohesive message that satisfies the consumer, the client, and the source material.
